Dear Nick Apologies for delay in writing but at least I have now had a few chances to use my special xmas present. I am certainly really pleased with my longbow. It is so light & comfortable to use. It really makes a difference having my own bow to use & progress with. I have now taken part in 2 field shoots, one at Saltwood Castle & the other in Ashdown Forest. I even managed to hit the targets on a reasonable number of occasions & not lose any arrows. Therefore this bow is a must for novices like myself to the longbow. I am very happy to pass on my recommendation & positive feedback for your craftsmanship to others. Many thanks from a very satisfied customer! Kind regards Linda
Hello Nick I'm sorry I haven't got back to you before, but what with holidays and such… I'm just writing to say that I'm delighted with the bow I bought at the end of last month. I've been able to shoot it a few times and I find it comfortable to hold, smooth and sweet to draw, absolutely no hand shock on release and it's more consistent than I am at the moment! I've shot some good rounds with it and am now working towards BM. It has also been generally admired at the club and I've passed your details on. I can also imagine that you might be hearing from me again in the future with a view to another purchase. Regards Phil
'hi nick. the bow has arrived safely. i would just like to say it is beautifully made, i could not be happier. a friend of mine makes bows (some self bows, some wood with bamboo front etc, most flat bows like the one found in this country 5000 years old and some d shape bows). he seemed impressed with the craftmanship of my new bow (he was curiously looking at it again and again studying it). i can fire the bow at full stretch (thumb just past my eye, palm on cheek) for about 3 shots before i tire then (to make clean shot) i have to draw string to my lips. i fired the 6 arrows 4 times. i think the bow is perfect for me. the viking style makes this bow stand out. i read that the reason the viking bow was so powerful was because they draw to the chest, cord /thumb touching chin or lips, where as others draw to side of face thumb to ear. so to still have enough power whilst keeping hands in front ready to draw weapon etc. the vikings didnt have a contingent of archers having time to fire in unison for set distances etc. so going on this i wanted a powerful bow to be shot quickly. i am not interested in competition archery, just archery for pleasure and possibly to hunt in future. i am thankful you sent 6 arrows with the bow. did you make them or buy them? either way, my brother in law and father have bows and so i ask would you be interested in a large order of arrows? also, what other bows do you or can you make? i would like a hedeby viking self bow, smaller in length with a 30-40 lb pull for practice in smaller confindes to practice tequnique. once again, thank you for the bow, you are a master at your work. im thinking of a name for the bow. ill be in touch.' It was fantastic ,powerful and very smooth and a pleasure to draw. The weight and balance is perfect I can not believe how you can make such a superb bow for the price but I am glad you do. Other people in my club had a go and couldn't believe how smooth it was . Thank you for your hospitality yesterday and I look forward to using your bowyer services in the future. Kind regards Kai Ps your business card is firmly on the club house notice board'
************************************** 'Hi Nick, Finally got the chance to shoot with my new bow (I've been away from home for a while). Really enjoyed it - it's a really beautiful bow - thanks so much! Grace'
************************************ 'Finally got a chance to shoot the bow after getting back. I'm really pleased, very smooth draw, by the end of the session I was pulling it up to about 26" or so. Point of aim at 40 yards, reckon it will get point of aim at about 60 yards at full draw. Thanks a lot, will be recommending you.
Best wishes David Hyde'

'Beautifully Made Item.' John McClean, Ayr ........................................... Hi Nick, The bow
arrived safe and sound and, if anything, looks better than the first one. I
can’t wait to test it out but the wind and rain are bad enough that shooting
yourself in the back could be a real risk. Thanks for sorting it out so
quickly, it is very much appreciated. I’ll be in
touch later in the year regarding a 77# @ 32” tri lam. Just out
of interest, do you use any other woods than the Hickory/Ash/Ipe combo? Cheers James
Hi Nick,
The Bow arrived today, absolutely delighted with her, beautiful she is,
wont get to shoot her till Sunday but will exercise her well before

seeing :). Looked in all packaging but no spare strings found,
presumably they'll be following?
Reagrds and Thanks again
Smiling Dave :)
Hi Nick The bow is
here and looks great and powerful. It will be some time before I open to
32" , but I have something to look forward. Again
thank you very much and can you please remind me the woods that you are
using? At the beginning was hickory, white oak, ipe and later you mention
ash, white oak, ipe! I can't
wait for Sunday's shooting - weather permitted. All the
very best - Yiorgos
